About
Hi there! Here is a little bit about me!
I grew up in a small town near Mankato, Mn. It is New Ulm! Wilkkomen! That means welcome in German as New Ulm is very German! I have a kitty cat named Rudy whom I love very much and will discuss many times! I also have a fiance, who teaches at Tech High School. A little bit of my background: I graduated and traveled to Winona State University where I attended for a year. After a year, I decided to move a little closer to home and transferred to St Cloud State University! I did my student teaching at Oak Hill Community School in St. Cloud in a fourth grade classroom. Upon graduating, Oak Hill asked for me to come back and I worked as a long-call kindergarten teacher for two months. Then, I worked as a small group EL teacher. In the fall of 2019 I got my first classroom! It was a fourth grade classroom. I taught fourth grade at Oak Hill for four years. Then, I moved to third, where I am currently loving my position! I also started my master's degree in Literacy Instruction in the spring of 2024. Please feel free to contact me via my district email which can be found in the contact tab if you have any questions or concerns. |
I love traveling, spending time with my kitty and friends/family. I also won the LEEA (Leadership in Educational Excellence Award) in 2023. It was such an honor!
